Levon Helm on Drums and Drumming

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up this title from the public library here in New York. Its a VHS tape. This is an incredible video from one of the best in the business. He explains different aspects of drumming and what the relationship between the drummer and the bassist means. In the video, he plays with Rick Danko and Garth Hudson and a guitarist and another drummer. This is a great video and I recommend it to every bassist that looks to be a better musician. Hell. I recommend it to every musician that wants to be a better musician. Its on DVD now under a different name. That is what I think. I am not sure. Does anyone know for sure if the Levon Helms instructional DVD is the same as the original VHS tape?

Rick Danko made a video(s?) on bass playing. Sorry, I cannot recall the name or release date of it. Rick's cool, fun personality makes it great.

Oops, sorry.

Maybe correct the title of your first post / the thread?
