lightning Bolt

i was jsut wondering i fany of your guys herd of lightning bolt, they only have bass player and drummer. and the bass playerT he strings have been tuned like a cello with the high a being replaced with a banjo string ... id advise downloading some

Seen them twice, hell, I even live in their home state, about 30 minutes from their home town and talked to the bass player when he was playing with his other band "Wizardzz".

Man, I really want to see Wizardzz, and Mindflayer too.

Lightning Bolt are great, Providence has a really strong music scene. It's kind of scary now, though, because the city's cracking down on a lot of the spaces these bands play and practice in.

Power of Salad is a great DVD as well. Anyone gotten Brian G's animation project DVD?

I'd advise buying some. Lightning Bolt is a great band, but like many bands doing non-mainstream stuff, they don't sell a lot of records. If you want them to keep coming out with cool stuff, support them!

They are utterly fantastic; the records are worth every penny - and more. Was going to go and see them in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago but I had exams to sit. Bums.

Look in the bottom right corner of a post, there is a button that says quote.

Also, if it is your own post, you can click the edit button right next to it and use that to change the typo as opposed to making a double post.

When editing a post you can select to delete that post as well, in case you want to get rid of that second post.
