Limp Bizkit to reform.

From Ultimate Guitar-http://ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/limp_bizkit_to_reform.html

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has fuelled rumours that the band are about to reform by writing a cryptic message on the band's MySpace page.

After enjoying hits such as UK Number One single "Rollin'" and "Take A Look Around" at the turn of the decade, Limp Bizkit split up in 2006.

Since then, rumours that the band were planning a comeback have been widespread.

In a posting on MySpace.com, Durst seemingly confirmed that the band were on the verge of reuniting.

"Hello my dear family members. Yes, it has been a while. But a while worth the wait," he wrote. "It is getting very close to time to drop the Bizkit on the universe. I say this with the absolute best intentions and motivation.

"We, Limp Bizkit, are excited about the future for us and for you. LBF is the way. LBF is for life. Let's stir some **** up my friends."

Former guitarist Wes Borland is unlikely to join the band if they do reform. As previously reported on Nme.com, Borland joined Marilyn Manson's band in August 2008..

Somewhere out there, all the baggy pants, black hoodie and red Yankees hat wearing guys just shot their load.

They never broke up? Wes just left... and then came back with an album and then left again. The single or whatever for that album is actually a great song IMO.

I liked their first two albums. "3 Dolla Bill, Yall" was very original when it come out way back when.

I wonder if Fred's gonna start up bitching about Christina Aguilera again immediately, or find some new pop-princess to try to improve his street cred. with.

ditto. Say what you will about fred but the band had great cemistry. Sam had great grooves as did the drummer (Otto?). Wes happens to be one of my favorite guitarists out there, he reminds me of tony Levin and claypool. He brought in a unique melodic vibe to the band giving the songs weird or exotic feel about them, all with out forcing the songs to adapt around what the guitar is doing all the time(rare in a rock band).

Not sure what to think of their future. I hope it doesn't suck but I've grown more and more tired of Fred's vocal styles as the years went on. *shrugs

I think Wes is also working with Korn guitarist Munky's side project.

I dig that song. It's got a hard core RATM influence to it.

Man, that's close to a straight-up ripoff, IMO. Most of the time, they remind me of a cross between RATM and Kid Rock--I'll take the actual RATM undiluted, please.

I really like the song re-arranged.. it just has a cool bass line.. I guess that's a bout it. Other than that I really can't stand the guys
