Lion King bass player

I went to see The Lion King last night with my wife and daughter. The show was just spectacular in every way. The costumes were innovative and breathtaking, and the performances were exceptional.

Anyway, the bass player in the pit orchestra was playing a Lakland 55-94.

The last show I saw was Mamma Mia, and the bass player was playing a Fender Jazz and a Sadowsky Modern 5-24. He said the Sadowsky was his money bass.

That's all.

Munji, I believe the Lion King bassist right now is a local Detroit boy. His name is James Dunn, he used to play for Sponge and had a short stint with the Brothers Grove. He was touring with LDS cabs, I've caught him a few times around town. A great player, but their are a TON of them in Motown.

I didn't get a chance to talk to him, but this is the touring company, not the Broadway company. Is that where he is?

When I saw Riverdance a few years back, their bass player was also using a Lakland. Wild.
