I decided it would pretty cool to see everyone's list of who they wish they could be endorsed by. whether you already use their stuff, or if you had the money, its all up to who would want. you have a choice for the primary equipment you use.
Signature would be of your custom design built by the company you choose. feel free to detail out the bass. Other would be any of their standard basses you would use. Pickups isnt required, but if you happen to use emg pickups in most of your basses, then you can pick emg. I have 3 for effects as most people use effects of multiple companies.
If you want to be more specific on the amp head/cabinets you would use, feel free to
Bass-
Company: Ibanez
Signature: ATK, burgundy wine finish, black pickguard, neck thru
Other: ATK, SR
Amp-
Head: Mesa Boogie
Cabinet: LDS
Strings: DR
Pickups: None
Effects-
1: Way Huge
2: Boss
3: None

Second, in the real world, most endorsements aren't bought. The artist may get some free gear, but it's often much more about support- having access to gear to use for specific gigs, being able to rely on the company for quick service, etc.
OK, having said that...
Basses- Lakland. I already own three of them, owned a fourth, and I've seen enough of them to fully endorse their consistent level of quality. So, I'd keep my two Deluxe 4-94s, and augment them with a Joe Osborn 4 (fretted rosewood board, Hipshot Bass Xtender key, Burgundy Mist. I'd get a neck with an unlined fretless ebony board to replace the lined board on my current 4-94 fretless. I'd get a Bob Glaub with a fretted maple board and a Jazz PUP in the bridge, in Candy Apple Red and with an anodized guard. I'd have Dan copy the exact neck shape of my fretted 4-94 on all of them.
Amps- I dunno. I like my Eden WT-400 the best of any amp I've used in 30+ years, but I don't much care for what's happened at Eden in the last five or so years. Maybe sniff out DNA, and maybe try out G/B and the new Ashdowns. Probably wouldn't endorse any amp right now.
Strings- DR are the ones I keep coming back to, and have for over 10 years. I used D'Addario and they're great strings (I still use them on my guitars, and have since 1973) and the company is a great group of people with whom to do business so that counts for a LOT!!
FX? Probably EBS because they're the only ones I've got that actually work on bass.
But the ultimate endorsement would be Warsteiner, Becks, and Sam Adams. Life is too short to waste any of it on cheap beer or bad drummers.
John
