Little Feat bass player?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just discovered the CD "Waiting for Columbus" by Little Feat. It's really, really good! I don't know how I missed this band, they were always kind of under my radar. I'm now a HUGE fan and would like to know more about the bass player. Anybody know who I'm talking about?

Kenny Gradney is the bassist you heard. One of the best live albums of all time. I'm a huge Lowell George and Little Feat fan. One of my bands regularly plays Spanish Moon, Dixie Chicken, Willin, and Two Trains.

Yep - Kenny Gradney - great bass player - great tone - that's some tasty groove he lays down on Spanish Moon.

Love the Feat. We also did Willin' and Dixie Chicken.

I love Little Feat. I'm now sat at my desk singing Willin' to myself...

"I've been from Tuscon to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah"

I'd love to start a tribute band that only played Wilco, Little Feat and everything from Lowell George's Thanks I'll Eat Here (except maybe Himmler's Ring - no one needs to hear that, heh)

I don't think there's much call for a band like that in Stoke-on-Trent though.

Oh well.

But I'd go to the gig if you came to Arlington.
