There are some other YT vids of her. She's all grown up now and works for Yamaha.

For all the technology and technique, she couldn't reproduce the slide at the beginning of the song. Ain't strings grand?

Yeah, I watched the "Carry On Wayward Son" vid as well. The beginning guitar solo made me cringe. She's got talent, but the poor thing has lost her soul.

For all that, she gets a meager at best response from the audience.

Is that the kind of appreciation talented kids get these days? For real?

Why doesn't my bass look like that?

I thought these combo home organs were for the retired demographic, no wonder nobody liked it!

very nice! having performed this song before, I know first hand how demanding it is to play. Props to you, miss!

Amusing, but it just shows that a person playing a "fast" instrument can make short work of a tune that is difficult on a "slow" instrument. Like the difference between playing the Bach cello suites on cello versus bass.

That was impressive. There are lots of child prodigy types on YouTube.

I'm not one of them.

That clip gets one of my rare 'watching a monkey juggle' awards:

It's difficult and impressive, it took a long time and a lot of hard work to learn, I can't do it... but.... what's the point

I give the same award to guys playing classical music on a 7 string bass.
