Are there any good live venues near the college? I've never been there.

Lemme ask....I may be able to get some info for you. I know Rico's has jazz-oriented music 2-3 nights a week, but otherwise my info is out of date. Drop me a PM as a reminder...I've already sent an email asking for info.

Cougs gotta help people out.

Lots of the bands I mix in Hood River are either going to and or coming from here, just across the border from Pullman in Idaho. I can get you more details if you need 'em Mike.

Pilgrim,
Yeah, Rico's is the only live (jazz) music venue I saw listed too.

Thanks Charlie, that place looks very intersting.

Here you go, courtesy of one of my contacts in the WSU Alumni Association....

In Pullman:
The Belltower has been great for live music – it has great acoustics and quite a bit of seating. Here is the link to the website: http://www.verycoolspaces.com/. I definitely recommend the Belltower as it is my favorite. There was a music festival in Pullman a couple of weeks ago now called Birds on a Wire and it took place at the Belltower and two other locations at the Gladish Community Center.

Gladish’s site: http://www.gladishcommunity.org/facilities/rental.html . The Birds on a Wire festival hosted a beer garden at each venue too. I don’t know if that factors into decision making, but it is an available option for shows.

In Moscow:
I think John’s Alley would be a great place to start with in Moscow. They have quite a lineup on their calendar, but I have personally never been there to see the venue. John’s Alley’s website: http://www.alleyvault.com/index.php . (That's the site Charlie mentioned...I remember going there in the early 70's when it was "The .

I’m sure Rico’s, the Coug, and Valhalla would be great options as well if they are looking for more casual set.

As always - GO, COUGS!
