LOG CD????

Sign in to disble this ad
Just a question for those of you LOGheads (sorry - could not pass that one up!)

As you may know, the LOG will be "official" any day now....your management team (NUBS, Gecko5 and me) have several things in mind....

One thought would be to issue a LOG CD with songs from LOG members.....would there be any interest in doing this?

We would (of course) have to have your permission to record your songs and to distribute them....

Great exposure for your band and just plain "fun" for the rest of us!!!!

Let us know......

Doug

Loghead CD

Sounds like a good idea...Song title and type of Lakland used would be very interesting.

Cool idea. Get this up and running, and I'll be sure to get something done for it. It'd be great to hear what everyone's styles are.

I'd be willing to record something for this as soon as I'm done upgrading my 55-01. (Bart US-made MK pickups and maybe NTMB preamp.)

I don't know if that's what MK stands for, but it's true Bartolini MK1 pickups are Made in Korea.

That might be what it originally meant. The MK-1 pickups are definitely Korean made, but my understanding is that the MK pickups are made in the US and are intended as replacements for the Korean made/licensed MK-1's.

I just received the MK's today and they certainly look and feel a lot different than the MK-1's.

Oh, I thought LOG =

Ren And Stimpy Log Lyrics

"What rolls down stairs
and over the chairs
and into your neighbor's dog?
It fits on your back,
It's good for a snack,
Everyone knows it's log.
It's log, it's log,
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
It's log, it's log, it's better than bad, it's good."

Oh, I was tempted to look for a clip of that on Youtube for my reply--but I got lazy.

Looks like we have some significant interest.....I guess the only thing we have to research is copyright etc.....

I believe we can create a basic release and then we should be on our way!

I am investigating duplicating costs as we speak.

will let you know WHEN this will happen....

Sounds like this will be a "go".....however, unfortunately, all music will have to be "originals" so as to ward off the copyright police.....sorry to those of you in cover bands.....the only exception will be "public domain" songs which are not copyrighted....

more details to come.....I already have a house set up to copy them for us!!!
