LOG LOGO CONTEST

Sign in to disble this ad
Ya'll - There has been some interest in materials with the LOG logo on it.....but there is one MINOR problem....THERE IS NOT "OFFICIAL" LOG LOGO!!!

All of you who are good with photshop etc.....design one and post it or send it to me....

a select group of us (me/Nubs/Helena and maybe one or two others) will pick the winner....

prize? Not sure yet....since the "LOG" is not official, but I will come up with something good (stings, Lakland strap, T-shirt who knows!!)....trust me

have fun and be creative!!!!

simple and simpler...
photoshop is fun, and maybe I`ll try something a bit more complex when I`m not running out the door for a show.

Here's my entries.

Not to bad if I do say so myself.
They both are just ideas that could be improved on though.

The first I couldn't come up with a decent looking text, so left it blank.
Anyone want to put some text on there, be my guest.

Second one is pretty much what I was going for.
Could probably do it again and get the "lakland" on the left head
stock to go in the right direction. Plus the photo was totally ripped from the lakland site.

There are some good things happening here!!!

Keep in mind that the logo will take many forms (i.e. picture, thread (as in polo shirt logos), self stick emblems etc....as such, it has to be able to be "modified" to include more or less detail as required....

I have been working on trying to "perfect" the font myself....rumer has it that one of Dan's relatives modified some existing font....

Yup....this is "unofficial - official".....I will get a Lakland prize for the winner...not sure what it will be yet, but it will be nice (not a new bass, try more "budget minded" - BUT your design will be forever emblazoned on any future LOG stuff!)

Hey, I just thought of something. Is the LOG the 'Lakland Owner's Group,' or the 'Lakland owners' group?'

Yes, embroidery will (hopefully) be an application!

There's some nice submissions in here and I really like this idea with the fret markers, very subtle yet instantly recognizable.

I went without the apostrophe altogether for my sig. I figured it was a group of (Lakland) owners rather than a group that belonged to an owner.

??? But I'm not exactly an English Major either.
