Look What I Found - What Is This Worth?

I picked this up a a garage sale today. It appears to be a 1966 Fender Strat neck from the stamp. It appears to have been rubbed with tung oil and the logo was removed and replaced with a magic marker (?) logo of Matax.

Any ideas of the value of something like this?

No idea on what it is worth, but it looks like it has a 70's headstock on there.

From what I cant tell, they began producing the "wide" headstock in 65/66 and this went on until 81. Anyone else know much about the subject?

PS - No serial number. It is just a neck, without logo, body or neck plate.
