For a Furman Rack Rider. I have a Trace Elliot preamp that needs some UV illumination! Anyone know where to find some?

I was wondering if one could DIY by using a paint/dye/marker/theater gel, or something...

I ended up getting two UV cold cathode lights that the PC gamer guys use. I built a housing to mount them to a ventilated rack spacer. Then went to Radio Shack and just bought a cheap 12v power supply that gave enough amperage to run them. Works like a charm.
Another possible option. Find some UV filters (gels) that are used on stage lighting or military type flashlights. They will be flat but maybe with a blow dryer you could heat them enough to bend them to fit your pull outs. Eh, it's an idea. |

that Trace green does look awesome with a blacklight though!

| | | | Nor sure if this helps, but I once picked up 110v 'black light' bulbs at a party store for halloween.
EDIT: Forget it, the base is to big.
