im 15 and listen to a lot of punk or pop punk you could say...green day, alkaline trio, blink 182 to name a few...i have basically mastered their respective "challenging" bass lines...anyone know of any difficult bass lines in this genre?

I also like As Wicked (I think thats what its called), Fall Back Down and Ruby Soho by Rancid.
The Bouncing Souls also have some fairly tricky basslines too.

Botch had four great albums, all with great bass playing. I Against I is the best way to get into the Bad Brains. Authority Zero only has two albums and they are both good-to-great. |

But if you're hell bent on punk you could try learning some of Matt Freeman's solos. |
