For the choruses, the lyrics go:

Son, confront me... The Road to Devastation
Kneel before me... The Road to Devastation
Inhale. Exhale... The Road to Devastation
This is my life... The Road to Devastation

For the "son", "kneel", "inhale", and "this" parts the vocals are really breathy, deep, and dark.

Im looking for more examples of that.
