..under $100.00.
I recently purchased a new (black) Roadrunner deluxe bag and it seems to be constructed poorly compared to the older black and red versions. Zippers seem cheaper, the material appears to be of a lesser grade and it feels flimsy. We'll see how it stands up to the test of time.
Back to my question. Which bag out their new for sale is quality built under 100 bennies? |

I have two of the gig bags in rotation now, and they are similar to early Roadrunner quality and come with a neck support like the MONO gig bags have. So far, I'm good with them.
Yes, I'm an endorsee. But I really do like the bags and they work as well if not better and I'm sure they come in at your pricetag.

mmbongo, what does that measure internally?
my the headstock shape of the valenti makes them 47" long, and they don't fit in a lot of things, including my older warwick bag.

Those two deal might end up being similar-ish, depending what the second vendor charges for shipping. The ebay vendor ships free.
The end of the Valenti headstock hangs out of my current Rockbag by an inch or so

I started a thread on them. Folks seem to like them well enough, but again, not sure if it's internally big enough for my needs.

I was caught in a sudden torrential downpour with it (it was in the open cab of my trunk, because the amp was in the driver's seat) and the thing was literally floating in water. Got to the gig, and my jazz bass was perfectly dry--even the outside compartment! By the time I headed home, the bag was dry too. I also like the Wolfpak, whuich has more storage space internally and suits most P and J shaped instruments.

I'm looking elsewhere, but thanks for the info.
edit-I don't believe these are available for sale anywhere, besides the above ebay link.
Anyone have a reliable source for one?

Yep, G&L bags that come with the Tributes are pretty good. Also, I picked up a Profile PRBB906-GR for cheap on Amazon. Very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. |

Mono is awesome but awesomely expensive too.

have tried to contact Warwick customer service, but have had no response yet...
would certainly have expected it to wear better than it has in such frequently used areas.
