Looking For A Long Island Bass Teacher

I live in Stony Brook and still haven't found a real bass player who gives lessons. So far all I have found are guitar players who also play bass (and really don't know sh*t). Does anyone know a good bassist on the island that gives lessons, preferably in Suffolk County. Thanks.
