Does anyone like playing music they don't listen to? I love playing old school sountry and bluegrass but I can't stand to listen to it. Is anyone else like that about something?

I ended up not listening to metal for the last 3 years. :P

I can't understand how people have listened to Lynard Skynard for 30 years and continue to play it every weekend. I'd go insane with boredom. There is good music evesrywhere and I don't want to be strapped to only listening to a little bit.

I've filled in for quite a few gigs like that and they're always fun to play. However, I couldn't listen to the actively. I get bored every time I try.
