Making flyers

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I couldn't really find an appropriate section...

I'm looking for advice on software to make flyers for our shows. The person currently making our flyers is using Adobe Photoshop CS4, and while they come out very nice, I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a flyer for an upcoming show, which is unacceptable. So I'm jumping in and taking over this responsibility with no prior experience in Photoshop, graphic design, etc.

What I'm looking for is an inexpensive way of making flyers for original rock shows. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I use either microsoft publisher or create a Word document and insert a picture and then text boxes inside the picture, I can't attach a pdf but if you want to PM me your e-mail address, I'll send you a pdf of a word doc flyer.
Here's something done with a template in Microsoft Publisher...
