I think this is a bass forum!

So are you questioning the authenticity of his guitar? Why would he lie about it. Considering he didn't want to change anything on it I would think it was real.

I'm questioning the way he treat his guitars.
If I had a 54 stratocaster I would take care of it.
I would treat a squier way better he treat his guitars

He can treat his tools any way he wants. I'd certainly treat mine better, but I can't afford to replace vintage pieces with pocket change like he can.

Yeah, because everyone knows that you just buy guitars to hang on a wall and look at them rather than play.
