Well, if he had taken the time to listen to the album (especially Side 2), he might have liked it a lot more than he thought he would. That's one of the sweetest-flowing album sides of all time. My dad was much older than me, and a barbershop quartet singer from way back. He was very impressed by some of the harmonies that the Beatles and others in my music collection sang.

Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time. It's a shame the guy can't appreciate the Beatles, especially since he was inadvertently on their iconic cover. It's an interesting story, though.

Speaking as a grumpy old man, I'd say Mr. Cole is just a grumpy old man.

Mean Mr. Mustard... She's so good looking, but she looks like a man... and she doesn't have a lot to say.

I dont know what a "kook" is, but if this man did not know anything about, or care about the Beatles, how could he put any name to them ?

Kook = spazz.

George Martin was also a Classical music buff...and he went on to become the "5th Kook".
