....making music that is.

So my buddy sent me an mp3 of his newest song he did with another buddy of ours. It just about made me cry. Not just because it was a beautiful piece of music..but because I wasn't apart of it.

I sold all of my stuff about six months to a year ago and I guess have gotten to the point of regret. Now I have no extra funds to get back into it. I bought a nice used iMac and iPod touch that everyone in the family uses and enjoys. I couldn't possibly sell that to fund anything.

Bummed.

I know what that feels like, my friend. I did that with my first drumset. That desire to play is probably not going away. You might want to start saving up some money to start over.
Or write a very heartfelt, pathetic letter to Santa.

Mrs Claus told me not to sell it to begin with. However I was soooooo frustrated with the way things were in my music life that I was so sure I didn't want anything to do with it again. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

Ill talk to my dad, but I have an SX/Warmoth P bass I got for free here on TB, and I would love to pass that karma onto you.

If you want it, all you have to do is pay for shipping.

Been there, done that. Regretted it, too, just like you.

That is why I don't unload all of my gear. I don't play that much anymore, but I know that at some point I will probably get back into playing a lot, so I keep it around. I keep most of it at church so they can use it and I can use it when I am there. It is a win, win situation.
