Max/MSP in New York City?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello again. I'm gonna be spending all of July in New York City, and I wanted to get Max/MSP while I'm there (there's nowhere in Mexico one could find it).

Does anyone know a good store for this type of audio software?

Other suggestions while I'm there would be appreciated, aside from the obvious Sam Ash/Rudy's and everything on that street.

Thanks!

I'm not sure there are any stores here that carry it. Why not just purchase it online?

Edit: A google search reveals that B&H Photo has the Max/MSP and Jitter Bundle. It's $693.50 there. Cheaper online.

Yeah, I would just hit up cycling74.com. It's only $495 there, and you can download it or get a cd sent to you.

Hmm... how come it's cheaper on amazon.com?

Do you think it's a different version?

Yes, it's a different version. It doesn't actually say the version number, curiously, but Amazon has the most recent version (5) listed as being a separate item, and currently unavailable.
