Ok, i'm sure everyone here has heard about how not to get screwed with EBAY but sometimes we don't take everything into prospective. I'm only posting this up here because everyone here has helped me and given some great advice so this is some i have to offer. I was selling some stuff to save up for a bass and i had more than half saved. My items were sold and i shipped them out. Next day... Payments were reversed. So i gave it all away for free. So just make sure you sell to verified people. I didn't even know they could do this. Well, lesson learned. Be smart.

Were the payments made with Paypal? Can they reverse payments once you've accepted them? This is news to me- please clarify.

Yes, I received payment via Paypal it said "Completed" so i shipped it out. That night i went into my paypal account and the payment was reversed. It said "completed" before i shipped it. I didn't know they could do this either. I called Paypal and i guess the user had an unregistered address (my mistake for not looking) so they do not cover the transaction out of their pocket. I guess in some cases they do. So avoid unverified addresses and unverified users.
