I think Paul has enough experience to handle that. Never ever underestimate the skills of your elders. Most of them can play circles around the heroes of today. |

McCartney said they "made something up on the spot." Sounds like a new song. There will surely be a video and television revenue.
If you think not one penny of compensation ever gets into the performers' pockets from benefit gigs, think again.

All they do is help stoke the stars egos and put more money in their pockets.
Even if they do not take a check they get the publicity and all of their expenses paid.
All these "Aid" concerts are a rip off.
Remember Live Aid and Farm Aid?

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

As a big fan of Nirvana and as much as I would love to see a true Nirvana reunion, it died with Kurt...just let it go. They should of did a Foo Fighters gig and had Krist play with them. Don't be like Courtney Love and (desperately and foolishly) bleed dry the coat tails that was Nirvana and Kurt's name. |

But I do enjoy most of Paul's post-beatles work. My question is. WHO IS GOING TO PLAY GUITAR? They have 2 bassists and a drummer.. No guitarist?? |

I was kind of secretly hoping deep down inside that they would just play with 2 bassists.. Sarcasm doesn't translate too well on the interwebs apparently either. |

Reports are 2 White Album songs, a Wings song (Live and Let Die?)... I'm assuming there will be a Nirvana song or two, apparently McCartney had never heard of Nirvana or Cobain..
As a McCartney fan and a Nirvana fan, I think this could be epic or tragic, but not likely in between.. I saw Macca in Houston last month, and he played for 3+ hours straight - his band did take a break during Blackbird.. He definitely has the energy to keep up with Grohl and Noveselic.. |
