Nice to see Mccartney play drums....is he good on drums? We knows that he drummed a lot on his own albums like Band on The Run and that he drummed on Back in The USSR, Dear Preudence and on The Ballad of John and Yoko.

But how good is he??

Sir Paul is the best "Macca-style" drummer in the world. <g>

He's also played drums on Steve Miller's "My Dark Hour" and James Taylor's "Carolina in My Mind" in addition to some Beatle tracks plus many of his own.

Paul was pretty much regarded as not only the best bass player in the Beatles, but also the best drummer and best guitarist.

edit...as well as the best keyboard player.

I remember someone telling me that Ringo once said he was the best drummer in the world... and Paul or John responded to him... rubbish, your not even the best drummer in the Beatles.. dont know if that really was said... but hey, it's pretty funny...

Here is Paul on drums in 1974 w. Lennon, Stevie Wonder, and friends during the Toot and Snore recording session... these were recently unearthed and worth a listen... (for curiosity's sake only)...
