damm where you get all these rad stickers.... ever since picking up the ole 4 stringed guitar, ive had a HAWKEYE on for cool stickers, but cant seem to come across any! nice case my friend

edit When i was the salad b**ch at Montana's Cookhouse i copped like 10 sheets of goat cheese stickers. PRIME stuff.

lol, i can't take credit for all of them. I bought this bass (1981 G&L L-1000) in the mid 90's and it had most of them on it already. I added a few but the best ones were put on by the previous owner (R.I.P.)

It's a sad story, I bought the bass from him for $175 and he was found dead in a hotel room 6 months later with a needle hanging out of his arm.......

I took these pics as I was shipping the bass off. Traded it for a Pre-EB Music Man Sting Ray.

I'll have to bring a camera to my storage space some day: I have an Anvil utility case that's completely covered in stickers, there's not a single square inch of exposed surface. And a lot of the stickers are bumper stickers that I cut up and rearranged the letters of to make nonsensical anagrams: I've got "mini scat showdown" (used to say "macintosh windows") and "pry up to our malicious clans" (um... I'll have to think about that, I can't remember what the original was).

For now you'll have to be content w/ the small lightly stickered case in the lower right of this pic:

I was sad the day my ibanez's case finally bit the dust. covered in all kinds of obscure band's stickers from all over that I had met or played with, and almost all irreplaceable.

Yeah I started this thread in hoped of documenting some of those treasures. I sold that blue L1000 and now I really miss the bass AND the statement that case made.

Never had stickers on my cases, but I did have a "Heartbeat" (Chevy) sticker on my bass. Black bass, and I put it on so it looked like it belonged there. Still there when I sold it.

Ok here's the front and back of my old case. About 12 years worth of stickers. There used to be more, a lot were ripped off or covered over the years.

A thread I can relate to!

I picked this case up on CL. After looking at all the stickers for a few hours, I opened it and noticed a rare-finish Seafoam Green Hamer USA Fretless Cruisebass 2TEK inside it .

I have changed a lot of stuff on the bass (including the neck, traded Lonote for a fretted one, and some oversize black Jazz knobs I got from you here on TB, Shrigg) but I have left the case in the pristine condition I got it in.

At first I was not sure I liked a case with stickers everywhere, but several people said they liked it, and before too long, so did I.

For only about $100, you can have a no pick sticker too. Comes with a free Ebow... I highly recommend, 5 string at least...
