Really pumped for these two shows, but how's this for a line up:

Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan and Red Fang, followed a few weeks later by Meshuggah and Animals As Leaders.

Pure metal goodness

I miss Mastodon circa 2005. I didn't like anything after Leviathan. singing? really? But I would still see them if they came.

Would love to see Meshuggah... they're mind blowing.

I saw Meshuggah three nights on the 'Obzen' tour and I tell you what...they were without a doubt THE best live band I think I've seen. Didn't hit a bum note once.

Tighter than a gnats chuff.

I've seen Mastodon every time they've played the UK since they supported High on Fire (festivals excluded) but I think I'll give this one a miss. The London gig is at Brixton Academy and chances are the sound will be horrendous. Tickets are about £30 now and I can't afford to take the chance.
Shame as The Hunter is something special.

Not even Red Fang and the mighty awesomeness that is DEP live can tempt you?
