A message for charity

I teach at a high school in NJ. We will be having a large venue charity band/DJ night to raise funds for local homeless shelters and for an international organization called Charity Water. Since the event is to raise awareness as well as funds. Do you know any companies that would donate goods to be raffled off?

If we get items soon I will be filing for a permit to hold said raffle, so this a legit action. PM me if you would prefer private communication.

My wife does a ton of that kind of work in her day job. Almost any business will donate stuff to be auctioned for charity.

You just have to find the owner and ask. It helps to be a non-profit so they get a receipt and a deduction.

It's tougher now with the economy and all that but, she (literally) fills our living room up with stuff at least twice a year to be cataloged and auctioned.
