I'm going to see them tomorrow

I've met the guys from Slayer, but this will be my first time seeing Megadeth. I'm very excited and now somewhat jealous.

I can't wait to see the tour in Dallas in September! It's gonna be Megadeth/Slayer/Anthrax here though. I have to say, I'd rather see Testament... NEVER get tired of seeing those guys live. They're my favorite thrash band.

Still the show should be awesome! It will be cool to see Joey w/Anthrax live.

Awesome, I was at the Detroit show last night. Went to Borders in Novi and got to meet Dave at his book signing. He actually talked to people for a bit as they had their books signed; talked to a kid in front of me about why he's never endorsed Fender guitars, something about they would only supply him with one guitar a year. I recommended him Cliff Burton's book that came out recently, said he would check it out.

Funny how the Rust In Peace material seemed to be over peoples' heads but as soon as they played Trust and Tout Le Monde everybody woke up and responded. I was really impressed with Chris Broderick, he nailed Friedman's solos almost note for note! Junior's bass tone wasn't really happening, not sure if that was the venue's acoustics are those Peavey basses he's using now. . .

Edit: Is he using Jackson's again?

That was such an awesome show... Megadeth was by far the highlight of the night. I've seen Slayer 3 other times and with the exception of Tom, they seemed kind of bored and didn't really look like they were into playing. Megadeth however, played amazingly, and put on a great show. They opened with Holy Wars and went straight through Rust in Peace without stopping once, it was incredible.
