Met with a Guitar player.
Met with a Drummer weeks ago and he found a guitar player to come jam. I hate jams but I went just to meet the guy and plugged into the Drummer's Roland Key Board Amp that sounded better then some bass amps I've played through.
So none of us really knew anything together and I think the week point is the Drummer. I don't think he knows a single song front to back like the back of his hand like I do and the guitarist seemed to.
The Drummer can't keep his tempo up and starts off too slow. After a while I realized his drinking was the cause, the depressant was dragging down his tempo. At about that time the guitar player decided he had to go home and I did not think about it at the time till I myself left but I had to wonder if the Guitarist just wanted to get out of there and stop wasting his time.
There was talk of forming a cover band for pay at the local bars. We all decided to pick ten songs each and then allow the other guys to pick two they can learn and then learn em. I don't know if it will get that far. We'll see.
Normally I'd look for greener pastures but this is a mid sized town in the pacific northwest. Not much going on.
