I've recently found a whole bunch of european metal bands with female lead vocalists. I'm talking about nightwish, after forever, epica, ect..
I'm wondering if you guys can inform me of any other similar bands. I'm really getting into female lead singers, and I'd like to hear more.

Just like everything else YMMV. I think she's pretty, just not my cup of tea.

Hahaha! I noticed that: I watched on Leno I think, she didn't have much/any makeup on. My instant thought was "Wow, it's amazing what makeup, expensive lighting, and photoshop can do!" She wasn't hideous, but she didn't look a think like the videos/pictures.

In the non-metal vein, I like Ryann Donnelly (no relation) of the Schoolyard Heroes, and Emilie Autumn.

I would reccomend Celtic Frost's first three albums as well as their newest. Some great female backing vocals there. |

When Kamelot toured with Epica supporting, Simone came out to sing Somewhere In Time with Roy Khan. It was phenomenal. Simply awesome.
And my band gets to open for them in September when they stop here in Detroit! SCORE!!! |
