Last night I was able to go check out one of my all time favorite metal bands

TESTAMENT

The last time I seen them was when Souls of Black came out.
Yeah, I felt old there last night! But didn't stop me from being against the chain bangin' my head and throwin' the \m/ all night!

It was so far, the best metal show I've seen this year.
They absolutely rocked!

for anyone interested, Greg played the show switching between a Geddy and Tobias.

Any other Michigan TB'ers there last night?

hey man,

well I wasn't in Michigan I saw them two years ago in Toronto. I gave Chuck Billy a hug when he got off the bus. Me and my pals were at the very front of the stage and Skolnick let us play with his guitar strings for some cool feedback during his solo and Chuck even gave my brother during Practice what you Preach! it was an insane show!

I will be seeing them again this summer at the metal masters concert with Judas Priest, Motorhead and Heaven and Hell

SHOULD BE GOOD!

The new Testament cd is awesome. Sounds like their old stuff modernized. If you buy just one cd this year, let this be the one.

I have nothing to add to this thread other than that I took a history of western civilization class back at my community college a decade ago and (the) Alex Skolnick was one of the students.

That's quite an addition to the thread. Seriously, that's pretty cool.

I caught them in NJ. Awesome show. They put on one of the best shows I've seen. They were tight, everything was on. Chuck Billy was awesome. Skolnick was amazing. If I wasn't a bass player, he would have inspired me to pick up a guitar. Greg was playing the Geddy and what I thought was any Ibby. It was more than worth the suffering at the hands of the 4 opening acts.

Yeah it was pretty funny to take in the crowd. A lot of 20 somethings and many older folks.
