lol so my little cousins are over last night for my brother's birthday and they always grab at my basses when they come by, they want to be rock stars lol i was teaching the youngest hot to fret and how to pick. after about 5 minutes he gets frustrated and screams "THIS IS BORING I WANT TO ROCK!!" and starts jumping around and slapping ala flea lol
update on these two little metal heads.... im so proud i feel like im going to cry lol
yesterday im helping the two of them with HW, so the 3 of us are at the table, and the older one starts humming out Raining blood(slayer).... i look over at him and think "wth?!" and ask "where did you hear that?" he just smiles, and then the younger one starts humming the intro to "One" (by metallica) i look over with a bigger "WTH?" and ask him the same question.... he smiles then shouts "GUITAR HERO!!!"
then i told them i had those songs on my mp3 player and they started fighting over it so they could listen while doing HW lol
The young shall lead us! My kids heard Johnny Cash do "Hurt" and they thought it was cool (it is totally cool) Then I led them to the original version....they just caught the fire. the power music has, impressive.
