finally sells music on i tunes. reckon they figured out how much more money they could make if they started sellin their stuff at a buck a pop? mmmm how come napster didnt get it and i tuned did? interesting huh?

As for iTunes, I have some mixed feelings. I dig legit (and er....illegit) music downloads (although I've had Metallica's first three and best records for years), but some stuff they do pisses me off. Fr'instance:
Opeth's Lamentations: Live at Shepard's Bush 2003 DVD at Wherehouse Music: $15
Audio of said DVD, EXCLUSIVELY on iTunes: $20.
Lame. So I get the DVD for cheaper but have to shell out what I paid for it AND five more dollars for the audio? Psssh.
And before you ask, YES, I am too lazy to record and bootleg my DVD digitally myself. |
