A Metallica Trubute band that is...

"A new METALLICA tribute album, entitled "Hip Hop Tribute To Metallica", is due for release on March 8, according to Overstock.com. The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Enter Sandman
02. Am I Evil?
03. Creeping Death
04. Harvester Of Sorrow
05. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
06. Through The Never
07. For Whom The Bell Tolls
08. Fade To Black
09. Master Of Puppets
10. Nothing Else Matters

It is not yet known which artists are involved in the album. Other non-traditional tribute albums to METALLICA which have been released include "Fade To Bluegrass" (bluegrass music), DIE KRUPPS' "A Tribute to Metallica" (Electronic/Techno) and "Say Your Prayers, Little One" (Classical/Cellos)." "

Also a ska and pop-punk one was released.

Seriously, why are people still making tribute albums? They're NEVER good, occasionally one comes along with one or two cool tracks, but it's extremely rare when tracks on these kinds of albums manage to be anything more than mediocre.

I thought Dream Theater's tributes to Master of Puppets and Number of the Beast were pretty good

I think they may get Lil' Jon to do a track. He's a Metallica fan.

Talk about 'crunk'.

Yeah, I mean, people always say, "****, MTV needs to go back and JUST play videos!". Sorry, I'd definitely rather watch GOOD MUSIC SHOWS, not ****ing, "The Battle Of The Sexes," or some stuipid ass show. Fuse has got it going pretty good, and I guess MTV2's going to start getting back into playing really good shows to try to compete with Fuse, which has built a strong fan base is about 2 years.

It was tight, but also something very new. They took the song and just transformed it into their own style, Fred sounded ****ing awsome doing it too. And there was some really good stuff DJ Lethal put in, and overall very VERY good.

Ditto. This is truly nightmarish. Why don't they just add a young country star and complete the trifecta of heinousness.
