which midi foot Controller for SP-404 sampler? HELP!!!!!

Hi, i'm not sure this is the right forum to ask.

I wanna get a SP-404 sampler to trigger sampled synths and textures. The unit pretty much is perfect for me. Small and not that expensive. But!!! i want to control it with the smallest MIDI pedal i can find. I just need to choose the sample i wanna trigger and trigger it, that's it!. I'd like to know if i can use the Rocktron Xchange midi pedal for that porpouse or the Tech 21 tiny midi mouse pedal they have. Or the G-minor from TCelectronics.
Can anyone tell me? i don't understand the MIDI implementation stuff on the manuals

I don't really have much to add. Just giving you a bump because I am curious about this as well. I sold my DL4 because I wanted a sampler/looper that synched to midi. So, here's bumpin'

well i got a negative answer from the tech 21 ppl. It won't work, the midi mouse only sends program change messages..and i need a note number messager and as i can see only the big midi foot controllers like the berhinger 1010 will do it.
I found a website that sells keyboard modules to which you can hook up keys or any type of switch to trigger that ddesired key...so i'm thinking on a DIY project and buyinng one of those modules and designing a 3 switch pedal that will control which key i want to trigger..
