Might have found a gig...

I met a drummer last night. He can really play with a nice touch and is not all about volume and banging. I can tell he plays for the song. I think him and I will really be able to work together. We played together for about 45 minutes with a guitarist/singer who probably won't be part of the picture. If you can believe this, my set up sounded really good in his garage and he commented that it sounded good (Schecter Model T going through a Peavey TNT).

The drummer has lots of experience in a band situation, which I lack. I can learn a lot from him. He's a family man like me, and he only wants a couple of gigs a month, which is alright with me.

He has a gig on Mem Day weekend, if he can get a few guys together, and he wants me on bass.

He's going to put together a cd of songs to learn at home, then we will get together and rehearse.

I think this one will work out.

Hey that's great, good luck.
