Mike Pope Preamp - Incredible Customer Service!

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently posted a thread about my Fodera having a noisy midrange knob. Mike Pope himself answered my thread and offered to fix it free of charge. Fortunately, I don't live that far from him, and he invited me to his house where he graciously and expertly repaired the preamp (which BTW was fine; it was probably just some shielding making contact w/it), chatting with me all the time about bass, music, etc. When he was done, the preamp was perfect, and I even had a potential bass teacher! As promised, he didn't charge me a thing for it.

Now that is customer service--and I am really appreciative of him for it. Great guy, great player, great preamp, great basses--thanks Mike! You've got a loyal customer now; I look forward to my lessons in the near future as well...

That's nice to hear. Good customer service really makes or breaks a business or product. I just wish more business owners understood this.

Mike is a great guy. I've talked to him some in PM's and I'm very much looking forward to having one of his pre's in my Fodera.

Mike is indeed a brilliant person! Not only is he a GREAT bass player and teacher, but you should hear him on piano! Of course none of that would make any difference if he weren't such a NICE guy too....

Hope all is well Mike....talk soon

Sorry, bro. My hard drive took a cr@p recently and I'm way behind on emails. I got my recovered data back a couple days ago. I'll get back to you soon. Thanks for your patience.
