Missed the big picture

I've been playing bass for almost a decade. I've just now realized I've been playing wrong. The key is to listen. How simple but I've missed it. Victor Wooten and he's book were right. Time to go back to those beginners books and start over with using just the CD

Almost the same, me too start to relearn my basic technique after 20 years more professionally play.
It's hard to change some bad habit, and sometime I don't even have a clue of how things should be done 'properly'.. But it's interesting to come back and relearn.. It gives me new spirit in playing bass :-)
