Howdy. I recently installed my Roland GK-3B MIDI Pickup on my bass. You can see pictures of it

As you can see it has that large controller unit that I had no choice but to install on the upper part of my bass (Schecter Exotic) and it no longer fits in my SKB-44 hard case.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with modifying these SKB cases, I pulled the foam on the top back a bit, and I can see what it is made out of and such, but i'm not sure how I would go about changing the case. I have to make a crater in the top of the case where it is now flat. It needs to be about 1.5 inches deep.
Let me know if anyone knows anything about this. I couldn't seem to find anything online.
