today is a sad day... where a grown man almost sheds tears...

i was walking down the street in the residential area, i look to the floor and there it was..

a Peavey Patriot

SMASHED!! to bits...

i picked it up and stood there in awe almost shedding tears...

it has a strap that was still intact so i took it...

Sounds like the work of "in the process of becoming" ex-girlfriend. Immediately preceded by the statement "You spend more time with that *(#&$ bass than you do with me".

No no, that was the 2nd to last thing... the immediate preceeding statement was the reply from the bassist: "Well, the *(#&$ bass doesn't b*tch nearly as much as you!"

They should make them outta steel, then it wouldn't break so easy.

well the only hardwear WORTH taking was the bridge cuz it was teh only thing still intact.. i mean the pick ups were missing the coils lol...

and the knobs and controls were nowhere in sight.. and even the trus rod was cracked and chiped away...

the strap looked like this...

but it was a dull grey leather so im using the back wich is swade black..

but it didnt have any holes like this one.. just the holes for the buttons

Or take it and glue/tape it together somehow so it looks intact, then smash it at your next show.
