Mooradian or bodyglove gig bag for sadowsky

Sign in to disble this ad
HI

i am looking for a light weight durable gig bag for my sadowsky. To get a mooradian would cost me £110. A Bodyglove would be around £80.

Has anyone used both bags? Which is the lighter one of the two? Is the mooradian worht the extra cash?

Thanks

I'm using a bodyglove for about 2 years now, it's great, very sturdy, more like a case, but light.
No experience with the moradian...

Not sure about cost or availability in the UK but I think the Sadowsky Portabag is absolutely amazing. And since you will be putting a Sad into it, seems like a logical choice .

I use the Mooradian bag for my Metro MV4. It's a great bag. Lots of padding, so you know your bass will be secure. Also, I can fit everything comfortably in the extra pockets (strap, cable, tuner, earplugs, music, etc.).

My one knock on it is that it doesn't have skid pads (not exactly sure what they're called?). I live in NYC and take the subway a lot. But since it doesn't have any, I'm hesitant to put such a nice bag down on the floor of a dirty subway train.

Don't know your situation with public transportation over there, but if putting your bag down on the ground isn't an issue for you, I HIGHLY recommend the Mooradian bag.

I've been using a Mooradian for a about 2 years and i'm very happy with it. Light but very well padded.
