I have been a member of the goodwill auction site for about 2 years now. Over those years I have bought a good dozen things. I have not moved in 5 years, I have had the same Credit Card for 7 years.
I bought a used clarinet for $13. Paid within minutes of winning the auction. My credit card was denied because it said my address did not match what was on file. So, I checked it and put it though again. Same thing!! What the FLOCK !! I called my CC company and sure enough 2 charges had been approved and gone through. Go back to the Goodwill site and it still shows my auction unpaid. I called the store. They hung up on me the first time I called. The next 2 times I had to leave messages. I also e-mailed the store though the completed auction site.
2 days no response. I filed a complaint through the web master for goodwill. They replied "Your error says that your address does not match that on the account and I should correct my address and click on Pay for this auction"! THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THE AUCTION AGAIN!!! 3 TIMES - - I really do not think so.
I will keep checking and keep posting to update..
Anyone have any type of solutions?
