There may be a good handful of 'pro' players here. I know Adrian Garcia has had some high profile gigs with KC & The Sunshine Band amongs others and BassSlave is current manning the bass chair with the funk band Slave. Woodchuck is doing some things in R&B as well. Jauqo III-X has his own band and is a high profile player. Maybe the 'rockers' here can chime in as I can't think of any other genre at the moment.

In terms of the word "successful", there's guys here whose yearly salaries at their day jobs are likely several times greater than what many famous "name' bassists earn. Just sayin'..............

Tony Franklin's posted a few times, as well as Brian Ritchie (Violent Femmes), Vail Johnson (Kenny G), Mark White (Spin Doctors), Charnett Moffett, John Goldsby, Bob Magnusson, Juan Alderete (Mars Volta), and a few other noted players as well.

I know of some well-known players who cruise TB regularly, but don't post. I wish they would, but they'd last about a week and then leave........
