+1 I am super stoked.

Count me in on this list!

I can't wait till their American tour. THey are tied for number 1 in my list of best concerts I've ever seen. Radiohead is the other #1.

Supposedly it is supposed to sound more like Supermassive Black Hole than anything else, which will, IMHO, be pretty darn cool

As for that last comment, what's the source? To be honest, SMBH was one of my least favorite songs on BH&R. It didn't sound like them.
Source is questionable at best: Quoted from Matt on Wikipedia. For some reason I really really dig that song, though Starlight is my favorite on that album.

When I first saw them, it was right after BHaR was released and me and my buddy drove to Chicago(2 plus hours) listening to it (first time we'd heard it) and were blown away.

I still remember them opening with Map of the Problematique.

I have all their albums and look forward to this one. Sometimes it bothers me a little that Muse doesn't seem to get quite the attention they deserve in the U.S. For example, several years ago I went into a store asking for a Muse CD. The clerk--who had obviously never heard of them--looked at my bald head and asked me if that was a band from the 80s. I'm sorry but working in a record store and not even knowing who Muse is is just inexcusable. Also, assuming I'd listen to 80s music just by looking at me would be inexcusable. I'd say that is probably the decade I listen to the least.

Still, it looks like they're going to be touring this album pretty madly, and Bellamy is now rumored to be a boss on GH5. Again,

I'd say the publicity from Twilight is bad. I'd rather that Muse get recognition from their music, not from a movie I am completely uninterested in. If Muse had to be associated with a vampire movie, I would have much preferred that it be one with Kate Beckinsale.

Muse's association with twilight makes me want to run through a crowd of people punching everything/one in sight.

It's unforunate that the US exposure for this tour is limited to openning for U2 on like 8 dates. Nowhere near Missouri either. I'm thinking of trying to go to the North Carolina show.

Any word on when they will release it? I live about two hours away form both college park and charlottseville, but both shows are during classes I'm on the list for preorders on Amazon and am soooo stoked for it!

I so can't wait for this to come out!
I saw them live a few years back when they were touring in Los Angeles. Tons of fun crowding against the guard rail to see what toys are in front of each of them.
Hopefully they'll hit LA again after this one is released.

Probably my favorite band at the moment. I'll be looking forward to buying the album in September.
