Hey there all! Right now i live in the Northern VA area, close to DC and I plan on moving soon to Texas, considering it heavily anyway. I was wondering, are there any of us bassists down there right now with music jobs, and how hard is it to find a music job down there. I'd be looking in and around the San Antonio area and Dallas Forth Worth area for jobs. As far as bands go, right now i'm in the band Shrine of the Silver Monkey ( myspace.com/silvermonkeymusic ) and in all honesty i'm not worried about finding a band, bassists seem to be pretty in demand haha. It's finding a job as a bassist i'm figureing I may have trouble getting. Anything you guys may know or can tell me would be really and truly appreciated. Thanks much! |
