Music looping software

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all.

This is my first post and I couldn't find a place better than the misc. category to put this in...anyway

When I want to learn a song on the bass as it is played by the original artist, I will play the song on my computer and often times repeat certain parts over and over (and over) again until I learn it. This is very cumbersome since I have to click stop with my mouse, select a point in the music time line and then hit play again. Is there any free software that lets you define a starting and stopping point in a given track and let you loop it over and over again? I am not interested in modifying any tracks or recording.

Maybe not what you want to hear, but an alternative of course is to get a cheapy CD/DVD player with A-B features. Make sure it has a USB port so you can place the song on a flash drive and play it straight from there.
