How is it? There seems to be a lot of different places to play and things to do.

What kinds of music there are popular? Are there good crowds?

Any info. is great, thanks

My guitar playin' buddy just moved to Asheville. He says the music scene is a good one. I did a search for him, and found quite a few national acts making stops in Asheville.

Any good tips on what to check out musically in Asheville? I'll be traveling through there on vacation at the end of April (doing a dirve on the Blue Ridge Pkway) and we'll be staying in town on a Monday night, maybe Tuesday night also.

Go see the Biltmore Mansion while you're there.

The zoo is always really far out too.

I loved it as a kid and I still love it.

keep your eyes open to see if there's a pianist named Derel Monteith playing anywhere, he's a wonderful player.
