Music scene in Reno NV?

Hey, I may be moving to Reno, Nevada. I'll lose most of my present gigs and contacts I've developed over 25 years.

What is the scene like there? Any recommendations on how to get involved?

I would like to:
A) Be able to do my solo gigs with bass guitar and keyboard sequences.
B) Be a bassist for a quality live act. (I play most styles.)
C) Maybe start a band in either Rock/Funk of the 70s and 80s or Contemporary Jazz.
