Music store sale in Hawaii!

Not sure how many TB'ers there are in Hawaii, but Music Max is having a retirement sale--everything is 20-70% off. The store is at the Pearl City mall near Pearl Harbor. They have a pretty good selection of Ibanez basses, some Ampeg and Kustom amps, GHS and Roto strings, misc. hardware and what you'd expect to find in a music store. With the 20% discount, the prices seem to be around catalog prices.

Might be worth checking out if you're in the Aloha state!

RETIREMENT sale as in it's not gonna be there anymore?

Crap. That'll mean my dad'll get mad when I break any of the music mac picks like I did to his braviroff goes kustom one (on the guitar of course, not bass).

No wonder. I've got 1,000 bucks in the bank, time to spend it!

when does the store close? It's really the most reachable place, after that I'm gonna have to find...oh I think it's called hotlicks by jelly's in aiea.

Auntie at the counter said she'd be closed by Christmas. Too bad, even though retirement is not the same as being driven out by a big box place, it's still sad to see a music store go.
